Cagamas was awarded the Issuer of the Year–Quasi-sovereign award at The Asset Triple A Islamic Finance Awards 2017. Cagamas was also accorded the Best Local Currency Sukuk award for its RM375 million ringgit commodity Murabahah sukuk. Datuk Chung Chee Leong, President/Chief Executive Officer accepted the awards on behalf of Cagamas at the ceremony which was held in Kuala Lumpur.
