The Constructing and Financing Affordable Housing across Asia 2019 (Conference), organised by Cagamas Berhad and The World Bank Group, brought together more than 450 participants from over 30 countries globally and supported by 40 high-calibre speakers from public and private sectors, academia and Non-Government Organisations around the world. Officiated by the Minister of Housing and Local Government, YB Zuraida Kamaruddin, the key takeaways from this Conference include utilising big data to effectively allocate resources in the housing market, innovative financing solutions introduced globally for local adaptation and emergence of non-banks to fill in the gaps in financing affordable housing programme.
