A total of 60 underprivileged students from various schools around Bangi participated in the Magic Mathematics workshop and Majlis Berbuka Puasa which was organised as part of Cagamas’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme along with the Zakat Committee. The children, aged between 9-12 years old were taught the basics and short cuts for solving mathematical problems. The event was held at Puri Pujangga, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) on 17 July 2013. The workshop was organised with the purpose to improve the basics of mathematics amongst the students.
